Despite the many challenges of 2020, we remain grateful for your kind support and continued trust in our practice. We sincerely hope that you and your family are in good health. Our clinic is open for all your dental health needs. We are practicing all safety measures as required by the various public health agencies and by our respective professional governing organizations.While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.
Our office has always followed strict infection control standards, and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic, and in the future, we have updated our safety protocols. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different, and we sincerely ask and thank you for your patience and understanding. We are all in this together.
Please note the following new procedures:
Before your appointment, we will call you to ask some pre-screening questions. We will again ask these same questions when you arrive for your appointment.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you only, based on your dental needs, and to allow for physical distancing between patients. Please arrive on time. When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and contact the office at (905) 277-3088 to advise us. If you took public transit or was given a ride to get here, please wait outside the
building and call us. We will then ask you the screening questions again before you enter the building. We may also ask for your verbal consent for the dental treatment and have you sign the consent form when you come in to the office.
Our entrance door has changed. Please enter via the main doors of the building (facing the parking lot on Webb Drive), and follow the signs to our new entrance (which was really our back door). Our Concierge will meet you at this new front door. Your temperature will be taken at this point and before you exit after your appointment.
Our Concierge will perform the initial assessment with you before proceeding to the treatment room. Assessment includes verbal screening questions, consent form signing, and temperature reading.
Masks or face coverings are mandatory in order to enter the building. It is also mandatory in order to enter our office. If you are not able to wear a mask, please call the office at (905) 277-3088 to discuss your particular situation.
Please take special note that only patients with appointments can enter the office. If you require a companion to assist you, your companion will have to go through the same assessment before your treatment.
Don’t be surprised to see us wearing more protective gear – double masks, face shield, gown, gloves, bonnet – than we normally do during your visit. These extra personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandated by our respective professional governing organizations for everyone’s safety and protection.
Please bring a sweater with you. Our air conditioning and Hepa air purifiers will be cranked up to allow for more pure and safe air circulation.
