Tooth loss restricts your ability to chew properly and also affects your diet and nutrition to your disadvantage. A dentist surgically places the implant in an opening he has made in your jawbone, which acts as the new “root” for the missing tooth. A “crown” is then added to the implant which fills the space left by the missing tooth.
Causes
